PRESS RELEASE - 77th ATM Gaushala

Kathmandu 26th February, 2014. On the auspicious occasion of our bank’s 28th Anniversary and Mahashivaratri, Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) extended its ATM network with the installation of 77th ATM in the premises of Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) at Gaushala. The ATM was inaugurated by the Member Secretary of PADT Dr. Govinda Tandon in the presence of our Chairman Mr. Prithivi Bahadur Pande and CEO Mr. Jyoti Prakash Pandey. NIBL with a total number of 44 branches, satisfied customer base of about 6 Lakhs, paid-up capital of over Rs. 4 Billion (highest amongst the banks), total deposits of Rs. 72 Billion and total lendings of Rs. 52 Billion, has the highest growth rate among banks in Nepal. NIBL is the first bank in Nepal to introduce VISA electron debit card in 2003 in partnership with VISA International and has the largest number of VISA electron debit card holders with 500,000 in numbers. Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. is also providing utility payment services through ATMs in Nepal, along with day-to-day banking transaction such as cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, Statement request and many other salient features such as;
